Dominique comes from a dance background, having trained under the Vaganova method for over 12 years. Her ballet repertoire includes soloist and principal roles in ballets such as the Nutcracker, Paquita, and Sleeping Beauty. Dominique has competed in international dance competitions, winning first place at the 2012 YAGP (Youth America Grand Prix) semifinals in South Carolina. She subsequently attended the 2012 YAGP New York City Finals, where she qualified for the final round and won the Mary Day Award for Artistry. Dominique was also the featured artist in Mark Lawson Shepard’s award-winning short film, Dancing Eyes Closed, and she appeared as a background dancer in the ABC family television show, Bunheads. Although she is a ballet dancer at heart, she enjoys other styles, such as contemporary, modern, and jazz.Since her dance days, Dominique has become certified for personal training (ACE) and spinning (Schwinn). She enjoys teaching classes of all kinds and helping her students achieve and maintain healthy lives. When not in the studio, Dominique enjoys cycling, cooking, and watching Game of Thrones.
